Job Title: Full-Time Studio Manager

Position Overview Munday Studios is seeking a Full-Time Studio Manager to join our collaborative and creative team. Located in the beautiful Banyan Workspace in Quarry Bay, we specialize in professional podcast recording, production, and live events. We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating high-quality video podcasts to oversee the technical aspects of our video production, ensuring seamless recording, editing, and streaming. This role is perfect for someone who already creates content or hosts a podcast.

Key Responsibilities

  • Studio & Booking Management: Manage studio bookings, prepare the podcast studio space, and oversee the 30-minute buffer times between client sessions.

  • Technical Production: Oversee all technical aspects of video podcast production for sessions of up to 4 participants, including the setup, recording, and dismantling of multi-camera video and audio equipment.

  • In-Studio Engineering: Act as the dedicated studio engineer to guide clients through their sessions and provide technical support to ensure smooth operation of all equipment.

  • Live Editing & Post-Production: Perform live video cutting (camera switching) during recording sessions and sync the footage with raw audio in post-production. Edit long-form and short-form podcast and video content.

  • Asset Management & QA: Conduct quality checks for visual and audio clarity. Upload RAW and synced files via WeTransfer within 72 hours, and ensure any requested edits are uploaded to Google Drive within 5-7 working days.

  • Content Creation: Produce social media content and create various types of promotional assets, including thumbnail designs and short-form clips.

  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and proactively troubleshoot video and audio equipment to ensure optimal performance.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience with cameras, video recording, and audio engineering/production (Note: additional training will be provided).

  • Familiarity with production and editing software, specifically Riverside, Canva, DaVinci Resolve, or Adobe Software.

  • Hong Kong Permanent Resident/Right to work in Hong Kong


Working Hours

  • General studio operating hours are flexible and can allow you to create your own schedule however we aim to aim open into the evening 1/2 nights are week. (40 Hours Weekly).


Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: 18,000 - 22,000 HKD Monthly (Initial 3-Month Contract).

  • Growth Potential: Salary to increase alongside the studio hitting revenue goals, plus the opportunity to earn an extra stipend for producing and managing specific podcasts.
